Top Tips to Design a Cozy Bedroom Feel

Bedroom cannot be considered as a place to be decked out as a pride and joy, instead it is a room where you may unwind and chill out. Unquestionably, a contented place to put down your head is deep-seated but there are a lot of additional bits and pieces that a bedroom is required to have in order to put forward an unbeatable bed time.

Bedding selection:
Your bed spread color must match your wall colors. It should also be either neutral or lighter. Compliment it with bright colored pillows. It will make your room cozier. With white shaded bed sheets, hot pink, red and black will go best. To make it cozier, you may add white leather bed in your bedroom and compliment it with brighter shades.

Paint color:
Choose a neutral shade to color your bedroom, like a fawn, soft chocolate, or white. Neutral shades make your bedroom feel bigger. If you are having a dark color like red, black and dark chocolate, it will make your room feel cramped and smaller.

Curtains and window treatments:
You can search out highlighted curtains, on condition that they aren't hot cherry or any other intense shade. Paying for a lighter shade for blinds will give an open look to your bedroom since you can see through the transom with a sheer one. If they are untied or closed they will not have an effect.

Extra seating:
If you are having a larger room then you must place seating elements in your room to compliment the cozy touch. Even in smaller rooms, you may add a small sofa bed or futon to sit down and relax.

Mirror work:
Dig up a number of mirrors. Mirrors replicate the daylight from the windowpane so it will give a more brighter and spacious look to your bedroom.

 Posters and photos:
Avoid the overuse of photos and posters on the wall. If you are having bigger walls then place some smaller photos on it. If you are having smaller walls then place one big photo or poster over it.

Yellow lights:
Use yellow lights in your room. Put these lights in lamps and place them in the middle of the room along the wall and on the furniture. Do not place it in the extreme corners.

TV placement:
If you are having a TV in your bedroom then put your television on a larger table or wall. Too many small tables give a cramped look to your bedroom. It will make your room cozy by setting aside clutter.

Statues and figures:
Purchase a few figures or small statues and place them on the bookshelves or in the corners of your room. Keep in mind that all the items, sceneries, pictures etc must be properly framed. Frames give your walls a nice and finished look rather than clipping and pasting.
